Tips for Successful Searching
- Enter any keyword or phrase. The more words you enter, the better your search results.
- Make sure to check your spelling.
- Words separated by spaces are treated as a phrase and will return articles that only contain this phrase. Certain words are considered "noise" (a, the, and, as, but, for, with etc.) and are ignored.
- Use AND or & to find articles that contain both words.
For example: airport & parking will return matches that contain both airport and parking in the article.
- An asterisk at the end of your keyword acts like a wildcard and returns a match on all characters.
For example: hotel* returns matches on hotel room, hotel guest, hotel programs and so on.
- Adding two asterisks to the end of your keyword is a "fuzzy" search and will return matches with a similar meaning.
For example: air** will return airplane, aircraft, airline and so on.
- A pipe between words returns all articles containing either word.
For example: aviation | safety finds articles containing aviation or safety.
- Separating your keywords with commas will return articles that contain all or some of the words
For example: weather, delays, airlines will return matches with weather, and/or delays, and/or airlines.
